Advanced Digital workflow from scanning to digital impression and Digital Smile Design, to Surgical Guides and CBCT Planning :

AIM:

  • Introduce the participants to a systematic approach of the digital workflow in implantology.

OBJECTIVES:

  • Discuss the 3D imaging techniques

  • Cone beam computed tomography (CBCT)

  • Review the 3D radiographical anatomical landmarks (Maxilla and Mandible)

  • Discuss the use and the manipulation of various 3D imaging software.

  • Introduction to the reading of three-dimensional radiological records.

  • Discuss the guided surgery

  • Fabrication and utilization of the radiographic guide

  • Transformation of the radiographic guide into a directional surgical guide

  • Fabrication of the full surgical guide by using different software

  • 3D printing of surgical guides

  • Introduction to the use of intra-oral scanner and digital impressions

  • Be familiar with the different merging software (CBCT and intra-oral scanner data)

  • AT THE END OF THE COURSE, THE PARTICIPANTS WILL BE ABLE TO:

    • Read CBCT data and understand when to request a radiology report

    • Merge digital proposals into CBCT data using different Implant Software’s and handle SSI files

    • Plan dental implants digitally using the library of implant manufactures

    • Determine sleeve system and location

    • Design and print full surgical guides

AIM:

  • Introduce the participants to the value of the digital smile design

​

OBJECTIVES:

  • Discuss the digital photography

  • Digital camera manipulation

  • Dental photography requirements

  • Hands-on on live patients

  • Discuss the advantages of the digital smile design

  • Discuss the use and the manipulation of the smile design software.

  • Discuss the digital workflow of the smile design

  • Introduction to the fabrication of mockups

  • AT THE END OF THE COURSE, THE PARTICIPANTS WILL BE ABLE TO:

    • Successfully manipulate digital cameras

    • Successfully take dental photography

    • Design digital smiles.

    • Incorporate digital workflow in their daily practice
